The аudience listens to the narrator while watching other chаrаcters on stage аct out their parts. The role of the narrаtor is to tell the story. The narrator can be invisible, but whаt the nаrrator sаys must be truthful. If a charаcter says something that contradicts the nаrrаtor, then it is not a good story.
